MUSIC READING AND SIGHT-SINGING
About the course...
Learn how to read music and sight sing!
Elisha Keen has been teaching musicology for many years and knows just how to get as much information into your brain in as short a time as possible!
Students will learn to...
- Read and understand notes of the treble and bass clef
- Read and clap simple rhythms
- Recognize and understand the meaning of symbols such as time signatures, key signatures, bar lines, dynamic markings, repeat signs, and popular Italian terms.
- Pitch different intervals given a common tonic.
- Sing simple written melodies (sight-singing).
This course is suited to students aged 13 to 103.
When: 6pm - 8.15pm, Tuesday 9th July 2024

Voice Masterclass
Stagecraft and Vocal Technique Masterclass
Students will perform one song and receive feedback on their stagecraft and vocal technique. It's great to receive feedback from a different coach and students will learn a lot by watching feedback given to other students too!
This is also a great opportunity to perform pieces to help work on performance anxiety. The more we perform, the easier it gets!
Of course, we always make sure that performers get a big confidence boost as well as receiving constructive feedback :)

HSC Masterclass
HSC Performance Masterclass for Music 1 and Music 2 Students
This is for students sitting their HSC performance exams this year.
Each performer will perform one song and will be given feedback by Natasha Cupitt on how to increase their marks in their final exams.
Students will learn a lot watching feedback given to other students too.
This is also a great opportunity to perform pieces under pressure so that they are 'sung in' ready for the exams.
